GCGH Pharmacy/Infusion Staff:
Mike Crane RPH., CPC., Director of Pharmacy, is responsible for directing the operations and staff at Greene County General Hospital. Mike reports to Jonas Uland, Hospital Administrator. Mike is a graduate of Purdue University School of Pharmacy in 1973 and obtained his "Certified Pharmacy Consultant" in 1996 from Purdue University.
Experienced in community, consulting, hospital and IV infusion, Mike has been with GCGH since 1990. Mike is a member of Indiana Society of Health Systems Pharmacists, and American Society of Health System Pharmacists.
Renee Bellman RPh., Staff Pharmacist, was employed by GCGH in 1994 after graduating from Purdue University School of Pharmacy. Renee had previous experience in the community setting with Taylor Drug Stores, an independent pharmacy chain in Louisville, Kentucky. Renee continues her work at GCGH as staff pharmacist involved in various skills such as clinical monitoring, IV infusion preparation, patient medication profile reviews, and Home Health Care patient monitoring and review. Renee is currently a member of Indiana Society of Health Systems Pharmacists and the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists.
Melissa Toon RPh, Staff Pharmacist, graduated from Purdue University in 1995. Melissa's first job was for Illingworth Pharmacy, an independent pharmacy in Linton and then Wal-Mart. She then worked at Bloomington Hospital before taking the job at Greene County General Hospital. Melissa is a member of IPA.
Jodee Wade Phram. D., Staff Pharmacist, graduated from Purdue University in 2001 with a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. During her externship, Jodee completed clinical rotations at Linton Family Pharmacy, Sullivan County Community Hospital, Bloomington Hospital, Apria Healthcare, St. Francis Hospital and Wishard Hospital.
Juanita Egnew CPhT, was employed by GCGH in 1974-1976 in the Respiratory Therapy department. Juanita returned to GCGH in 1986 as a Pharmacy Technician and continues at present. Juanita successfully passed the national certification exam in1995 as a CPhT- Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Melanie Cravens CPhT, was employed as a certified ward clerk at GCGH from 1975 - 1984. Melanie transferred to the pharmacy department in 1985 and continues her work as a Certified Pharmacy Technician at present. Melanie successfully passes the national certification exam in 1995 as a CHhT- Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Denise Gambill, RN, graduated from Indiana State University in December of 1989, and worked on the Med-Surg floor for 2 years. She transferred to the Intensive Care Unit and worked there and in the Emergency Room for 8 years. In September 1999, she transferred to the Infusion Center. She is ACLS certified and PICC Line Certified by the National Association of Vascular Access Networks.
Cindy Walton, RN, graduated from Vincennes University in 1997. Cindy's previous experience consists of charge and float nurse at Bloomington Hospital. Cindy completed certification of NAVAN (National Association of Vascular Access Networks) in March of 1998 on the insertion of PICC lines. Cindy began employment with GCGH in January 1998 when the formation of the Infusion Center began to take place.
Denise Collins, RN, graduated from Indiana State University in 1993 with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She worked at Bloomington Hospital in 1994 as a float nurse and worked Med-Surg, Oncology, Orthopedics and Post Partum. She came to Greene County General in 1994 and worked in Intensive Coronary Care and the Emergency Department. She also filled in as House Supervisor. She is certified in ACLS and Trauma Nursing.
